Chronically Ill, Chronically Writing
striving to bring awareness of invisible illness through inclusion in fantasy novels

I was diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Hypotension) in 2017. It took 14 months of hearing “it’s all in your head” to get the diagnosis. I was fortunate as the average diagnosis time for POTS is 5 years (according to dysautonomia international).
I am an avid Dungeons & Dragons player (as well as DM) and am always involved in at least two D&D campaigns. Druid is my favorite class, but I am usually the Cleric of the group.
I got married in October 2021, and enjoy life with my husband, dog, and three cats. One cat is a chonk, the other two are appropriately named Merry and Pippin as they are always getting into mischief.
